Getting thereFly to Srinagar: about 1 hour 30 from Delhi, 2 hours 45 from Mumbai. Your driver meets you at the airport.
Weather and packing15 to 30°C from March to June, mild and green through September, below zero at night in winter. Carry layers; a warm jacket from November.
Food and shoppingWazwan, kahwa, saffron from Pampore, dry fruit and Pashmina shawls. Carry cash for the markets and the shikara.
